FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Clear answers for better decisions.

What we build, how we work and when software designed around an operation makes sense.

01

What does Blaxline do?

Blaxline designs, builds, operates and evolves custom business software. We turn important processes, rules, data and exceptions into systems that fit the way a company actually works.

02

When does custom software make sense?

When an important process does not fit standard tools well and people bridge the gap with manual steps, spreadsheets, messages or disconnected systems. We first assess whether to buy, configure, connect or build.

03

How does the engagement work?

We begin with a Fit Session to understand the process and its constraints. We then define a Blueprint, implement the agreed solution, and can operate and evolve the software as needs change.

04

Can the software connect to tools we already use?

We design integrations with existing systems when they are technically viable and useful. We identify and document scope and dependencies during discovery and in the Blueprint.

05

Does Blaxline use artificial intelligence in every project?

No. AI is a supporting capability, not the starting point or the product. We include it when it concretely improves speed, quality, economics or operating capability, with clear rules and human accountability.

06

Who owns the software that is built?

Rights, licenses, third-party components, data and responsibilities are defined in each project agreement. We clarify those boundaries before implementation; they are not assumed to be the same for every project.

07

How much does a project cost and how long does it take?

There is no single price or timeline. Both depend on the process, scope, integrations, risks and operating requirements. After understanding the case, we define a proposal and plan with explicit deliverables and dependencies.

08

Does Blaxline stay involved after launch?

Yes, we can operate, observe and evolve the system within the agreed scope. Post-launch work is defined with clear responsibilities, priorities and change criteria.

09

How do we get started?

Tell us what process you want to improve on the contact page. We will review the context and arrange a Fit Session if there is an initial fit.
